Some websites for 2008

In the course of my trawl I've been impressed by the following sites:
This is my new source of the NSE live feed now that stockskenya and mystocks seem to have gone kaput.
These guys designed Nelly data's logo and background. I'll plug them in the hope that they'll do some pro-bono work for KCIG...
A neat source of laws in EA and Africa...
They will do some marketing for ya...

Maina, Running a website from Kenya for Kenyans is an uphill battle. Internet penetration is very low. Once we get the infrastructure the scene may change.

That said, there is very little financial content or research on public companies online.

Buidling content on Kenyans companies is very easy. For example, the law website, I believe those guys took the law books and just copied the stuff onto their site and that can easily be done with company accounts. The value-adding would be doing what Hasinet has tried to do.

is tough but am trying to sell the memorial website idea to kenyans. is slowly picking up and so far we are pl;eased with how kenyans have embraced this idea
